A video is indexed once, so searching it again later uses search credits, not indexing minutes. The same balance covers searches you run in the web app and searches your AI assistant runs through the Vivu connector. What happens to your video after upload is on the security page.
Questions
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan includes 20 indexing minutes and 50 search credits each month, in a personal workspace. It is a plan with a monthly allowance, not a trial that runs out.
What counts as an indexing minute?
A minute of video indexed. Each video is indexed once when you upload it, and its length counts against the month. If a video is longer than the minutes you have left, the web app offers to index only the part that fits.
How are search credits used?
A fast search uses 1 credit. A precise search, which adds a refinement pass on top of fast retrieval, uses 5 in total.
Do the web app and the Vivu connector for your AI workflow have separate allowances?
No. The web app and the Vivu connector for your AI workflow use the same account, the same projects, the same indexing minutes and the same search credits.
What happens when the indexing minutes run out?
The web app tells you no indexing time is left in the billing cycle. You can wait for the next cycle or upgrade your plan.
How do I upgrade or change my plan?
From Profile in the Vivu web app. The Upgrade to Premium button on this page signs you in and opens the billing screen.
Is there a team or enterprise plan?
No. Free and Premium are the only plans. An account can belong to an organization workspace, where organization projects are visible to the other members of the workspace and private projects are not. If your team wants to work in an organization workspace, or Premium does not cover your library, talk to sales.
